Race For Glory: The Story of Drill Team Racing (Documentary)
Directed by Joseph D'Albora
Produced by: Joseph D'Albora and Greg Pace
a Triangle Park Entertainment and Kismet Films Production
Drill Team Racing is an exciting athletic event having roots in the
early days of New York City firefighting. What started out as brutal
races between fire departments to get "first water" on an actual fire
has evolved into a technically advanced, extremely intense competition
between New York volunteer fire departments. Drill Teams race against
the clock in competitive events using ladders, hoses, bucket brigades
and racing trucks that NASCAR would envy. Every day, firemen speed along
on trucks. Each week, NASCAR and NHRA hold high-speed events. Never does
anyone jump off. Drill Team Racing is not for the faint of heart. It's a
sport with no room for fear. No room for second-guessing. Racers get on
the truck, put their faith in the driver and never look back. They hold
a 200-pound ladder and jump off the truck at 85 miles per hour protected
solely by kneepads and hockey helmets. They aren't professional
athletes. They are volunteer firefighters. They're ordinary men and
women who risk their lives for sport and community. Racing is a family
legacy for many of these athletes, whose fathers and grandfathers raced
before them. They are fueled by a love of the sport, the competitive
spirit, a dedication to firefighting, and a sense of tradition.
We've captured all the intensity and speed through multiple cameras
mounted everywhere from the hood to the floor-board of these high-speed
trucks. RACE FOR GLORY is an exciting documentary that captures the
character, ambition and dedication of New York Firefighters at home, in
fires and on the race track.
Stacy Baby (Documentary)
Are Men Obsolete?
This is the story of a woman who beat her biological clock, not by
rushing into marriage or finding a "suitor", but by artificial
insemination. A founder and CEO of a growing company, she chose to have
a child on her own; but a child became children. Twins. Multiple
pregnancy is a part of all fertilization techniques; not every parent is
ready for that reality.
This is a work-in-progress as we follow Stacy through her pregnancy, to
her children's birth, and beyond. Will she regret this tough decision?
Will there be a man in her future? Will that man accept the children?
How do others - her mother, her father, her clergy, her siblings - feel
about her decision to "go it alone"? Do women need men at all anymore?
Learn all of the answers with us when "Stacy Baby", the documentary, is
born.

Crime Labs (Documentary)
FBI crime labs are the only labs in the country that are not audited.
Are they above the law? Letters from convicts who claim to have been
wrongfully accused based on faulty - or worse, falsified - evidence
flood into government watchdog offices every day. Who is right?
We explore the process of forensic science and how FBI crime labs fit
into that process. We don't know where it will take us just yet, but we're anxious
to see.
